Karate Auckland has the pleasure of hosting the 2019 Auckland Open 

Date:  Sunday 18th August

Time: Competition commences at 8.00 am

Location:  Auckland Netball Centre, 7 Allison Ferguson Dr, St Johns, Auckland

This Tournament is to be run in conjunction with the National New Zealand Secondary Schools Tournament.
Please note there will be a separate entry for this event on Sportdata.

Intermediate and Premier Divisions only - except for 6-9 year olds where there are only Development and Intermediate Kata events.

Intermediate divisions are designed to give less experienced competitors the opportunity to experience and to learn from watching our more experienced competitors. Our hope is for all participants to have an enjoyable time and to be successful in this tournament whether it is because of great results or good improvement.

******Body Protectors are compulsory for all kumite competitiors******

7.30 am    Registration, Warm up and Welcome

8.00 am    14 Years Plus Events

Kata events are first starting with Team Kata
Kumite events follow finishing with Team Kumite

12.30 pm   Under 14 Years Events

Kata events are first starting with Team Kata
Kumite events follow finishing with Team Kumite - except all Senior Finals matches will be held at the end of the morning events

A more accurate schedule will be produced when competitor numbers are known. Divisions may start earlier or later than stated above.

Onsite cafe will be operating all day. Plenty of onsite car parking available.

Tournament Fees
All entries must be submitted by Monday 12th August 2019. No late entries or changes will be accepted.

Individual (not per event) Registration Fee is $65.00 less any applicable discounts.

Team Event (per Team) $45.00.

KNZ Registered Player discount ($10.00).

KNZ Registered Player – this is separate from any KNZ club registration. If you are not sure what this is you are probably not KNZ Registered.

Payment Reference - Please use competitors name.

PayPal – pay by PayPal on Sportdata using your credit card. But note Sportdata does not deduct any discounts from the amount payable but you can manually enter the amount you want to pay.
