Notice of Annual General Meeting

ALL MEMBERS WELCOME

This notice is to advise you of the upcoming Karate Auckland Inc Annual General Meeting

(AGM). If you are a current financial member of Karate New Zealand (Union of New Zealand

Karate Organisations Inc.) and you reside in the Auckland Region (Auckland and Northland)

you are eligible to vote at the upcoming meeting

You must be a current paid member at the date of the AGM.

Agenda:

• Welcome, attendance and apologies

• Minutes of last AGM and matters arising from this

• Chairman’s report

• Treasurer’s report on finances and adopting financial statements

• Referee Council report

• Coaching Council report

• Election of Officers

• Motions to be considered

• Alteration of Karate Auckland Inc. rules

• General business

Nominations are now open for Committee positions.

We have the following positions are

appointed at each AGM, existing committee members may also re-apply:

• Chairperson

• Secretary

• Treasurer

• Committee Members x 4

All of these positions involve a 12-month commitment.

If you wish to stand for a position on the executive send an email to jason5ng@xtra.co.nz

with your name and position you are standing for as well as any relevant experience or

plans you may have for the role. Each candidate shall be proposed and seconded in writing

by Members and the completed nomination delivered to the Secretary. Nominations should

be received by 5pm Monday 24th April, 2017. Candidates will need to attend the AGM
